Mt. Everest 8,848 m. Nepal is small country situated in the south Asia. It is extended to an area of 885 km in east west and 1093 km in north south. The total land area of the country is 147141 square km. it is bordered by India in east, west and south and by china in the north. Therefore it is a country sandwiched between the two giant countries. The country is very beautiful and attractive. It has many natural attractions. The high Himalayan ranges, mountainous, rocky land, the big rivers difficult to cross barren and infertile land and the land locked nature of the country have made the the development tasks very challenging and difficult on the other hand the favorable climate and hard working and honest people of the country are the assets of the country.Nepal is the famous destination in the world for trekking in the Himalayas .Among them,Everest base camp trek is one of the famous treks in Nepal .

The Everest area is situated in eastern Nepal. It is protected by the Sagarmatha National Park, established in 1976 with an area of 1148 square kilometers. The park is largely composed of the rugged terrain and gorges of the high Himalayas. Altitude ranges from 2845 meters above sea level to the top of the world, Mt. Everest at 8848 meters.

Guarded by some of the highest and most beautiful mountains of the world, this homeland of the Sherpa people who migrated from Tibet in the 14th and early 15th century. Followers of Buddhism, they celebrate Losar, Dumje and Mani Rimdu along with other festivals. Sherpa's will leave a dramatic, unforgettable impression on you. Follow in the footsteps of legendary mountaineers who scaled Mount Everest and experience the spellbinding magic of the world's highest mountains and its glorious environment. An incomparable blend of ancient's monasteries, former important trading post, serene village, rushing rivers and sequences of the most spectacular panoramas are only a handful out of this astonishing region.

The popular destination points for mountains sceneries are called Kalapathar, Chhukung RI, and Basecamp and Gokyo peak provide panoramic views of mountains and you will be surrounded by over 65 peaks of 6000 meters.

The area also offers a large mammals commonly seen in the park are the Himalayan thar and musk deer. Somewhat less common are the Himalayan black bear, common languor, jackal, weasel and the Himalayan mouse hare and a lush habitat for over 118 species of birds in forest. In Everest area, you should allow between 5 days to 28 days to trek. The elevation of the trails rises from 1955 m. to 5550 m. above sea level.

After breakfast commence trek to Deurali (2735m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 05: Deurali to Sete (2645m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 06: Sete to Junbensi (2640m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 07: Junbesi to Nunthala (2440m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 08: Nunthala to Kharikhola (2020m) 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
Day 09: Kharikhola to Pyau (2700m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
