Skyline Treks & Expedition supports a local village charity project as part of the Sandiego Foundation of Nepal (SADFUN). Not far from the Kathmandu close to the village of Sunkhani, an area of what was once barren wasteland is slowly being transformed into a thriving local community.

The best way to really experience a culture to live for some time within it. Nepal has many volunteer opportunities doing all kinds of things, from environmental action to handicraft design to teaching. The experience is incredibly rewarding and should never be expensive, unlike many groups which charge you a premium to volunteer your time!

Our company (Skyline Treks) invests 15 % of its benefit in it's Welfare Fund with the view to provide education facilities for helpless, disabled, poor, orphan & socially back warded children, particularly of the remote areas. Our company has been involved in Social Welfare sector, since its establishment. From the very beginning, Skyline Treks has been devoting 15% of its benefit which we gain through our nepal trek tours services to a scholarship fund for needy students with a view to uplift the society. Most of the part of Nepal, people are extremely poor so they are unable to admit their children in school, are beyond the educational facility. Besides, most of the schools in remote areas are lacking teachers & physical educational materials. Through this fund, we are acquiring brilliant success for providing the primary education for helpless, disabled, poor, orphan & socially back warded children, particularly in the remote areas.

Apart from this, our company is also taking its effective steps for the women empowerment in development process. It aims to provide rays of informal education for the women from villages. It has been able to provide basic health facility in some remote areas where there is no hospitals & health post. We have been enjoying one after another success in social welfare sector for the past 5 years. For this, our special thanks go to our great customers who greatly supported us in order to achieve this success.

Now we are planning to expand our service to facilitate the helpless children who are affected by the internal war & to help for their further education.
